Balancing the Immune System

Recently, science has begun to a fascinating array of natural substances that actually strengthen the immune system. The following twelve natural substances help us to balance and protect our immune system.

1- Vitami E– helps to preserve and strengthen immune system function. A weakened immune system can be helped by taking vitamin E in natural form, using a dosage of 800 IU daily.

2– Multiple vitamins– a simple multiple-vitamin capsule is essential to maintain a complete balance in a normal immune system. Take one daily.

3- B Complex– B100 Complex contains all the various B vitamins. B6 has demonstrated a particularly strong positive effect on the immune system and is found in B100 Complex.

4- Vitamin C– this vitamin has an important role in increasing the number of white blood cells that form the backbone of our immune response. Take 1,000 milligrams of vitamin C twice daily. Do not use a timed -release capsule.

5-YogurtРthe live culture in yogurt stimulate  the immune system by causing the body to increase production of gamma interferon, which can fight off infections; one to to cups daily is recommended.

6- Garlic– can stimulate and enhance the response of the immune system. Take the capsule form, equvalent to one clove of fresh garlic daily.

7- Echinacea– this plant substance can also stimulate immune system function. It should not be taken daily as a tolerance can develop, making it less effective. Take two to three tablespoons of tincture daily, for four to eight weeks; then stop taking it for two weeks.

8- Glutathione– a potent antioxidant and immune system stimulant; a standard dosage is 100 milligrams daily.
